Looks like they would look great in your decor,…so using them as decoration would almost force you to be inspired to play again!!!!! I would so display them somewhere, they are great. I love guitars, but it would truly be silly for me to have them displayed in my home. I am tempted by the hello kitty guitar though….hummmmm

I’ve had a beautiful acoustic guitar for at least 25 years. I took one lesson as a kid after I got it and decided that the guy was not a good teacher and never went back. Such a shame! It’s only ever been played by my college boyfriend but I, like you, can’t part with it. Can’t part from the possibility that it holds.

I played the bassoon (let’s talk “uncool”) in my jr. high band which I LOVED. One of these days I’m going to get my 40-something butt into a music shop for piano or guitar lessons. . .oh yeh, did I mention that my husband gave me an electronic keyboard about six years ago and I still can’t play a note.

Perhaps a potential New Year’s resolution for me: learn to play something! Good luck with your musical pursuits.

They are very pretty guitars! It’s funny too because I just posted about how we need to find a good way to store our guitars so we can use them more often. Guitars must be on the collective brain of the blogosphere these days. :)

Playing music is always cool; it doesn’t matter the instrument. I took piano lessons for 10 years and am looking into music lessons for Mikey this year.

I sold both my flutes on ebay when I was a poor college student. Today in the train station there was an elderly man playing the flute and it made me regret that decision. Yeah, might not be cool, but I actually know how to play it!

Please. Clarinets are the coolest.
