There is no contest. Do I just enjoy the details more? A plain table with plain legs vs. a table with the furniture version of an actual personality (and not an overly imposing one)? needless to say, it didn’t come home with us. but i did get some of our current table UNDER my fingernail 2 days ago so i’m kinda over this one hehehe

The "X" legs aren't an issue when it comes to sitting at the table, however, due to an apron that supports the table top, you can't cross your legs when your chair is pulled all the way under the table (unless I have freaky fat legs and that's the problem! :-) Additionally, I hunted all over the table and chairs looking for the Henredon stamp and couldn't find one. However, the set was donated with a matching buffet and Henredon was stamped on the inside of the buffet drawers (but it seems funny that the table isn't also marked - but I swear it was a matched set! :-).
