I think Jules needs to stage an intervention before it’s too late. I had a baby almost a year ago and I have managed to keep cute to a minimum, although it’s been hard. Be vigilant, it sneaks up on you fast and your knee deep in baby dolls and hedgehogs! Call a friend if you think you might be slipping. (ha ha)

from the perspective of someone who doesn’t have children and won’t for a few years, I think they’re great. there’s nothing wrong with a little bit of cutesy…. just don’t turn your entire house into a princess dream castle, is all.

I swore I would never fall victim to some of the more cutesy things, but where Christmas is concerned, I’ve found myself collecting country-style moose! and I don’t even have a kid. I’m just sad!

It’s true. My girl is now 16 months old and my tastes are definitely more whimsical and cutesy – a far cry from what they used to be. It’s so easy when you have a daughter, too…. Just wait :-)
