I just had my baby a week ago and am mostly sitting around at home in my PJs. As far as nursing in public, my lactation consultate gave me this awesome cotton muslin swaddle that has been great for covering up without feeling like I'm going to sufficate the babe (Like I do with a flannel or stretchy cotton wrap). A word to the wise.....after you have the baby...and you are home and indoors alot...KEEP WEARING SHOES!! I made the mistake of going barefoot and because your foot, as the rest of your body did, softened and stretched out. They will go back if you wear shoes and force them back into submission. I was a half size larger and had to give away 200 pairs of shoes!!! very cute…everything. A word to the wise…..after you have the baby…and you are home and indoors alot…KEEP WEARING SHOES!!
