Oh my how she’s grown. Nicole, you have a lovely daughter and I love the Eames rocker series. Personally, I’d love to see her a photo of Eleanor in the Eames rocker each year until she’s an adult. Wouldn’t it be lovely to see her at 15 sitting on the same chair? I think it’s a spectacular way to chronicle her youth.

She is adorable as always. I wish I had done this with my boys. My youngest is nearly 2 1/2 and I’d have to cobble it together. This is the best idea ever.

    I KNOW I said I wouldn’t try again for a girl, but….

I found your blog when you were pregnant, and your daughter was born just a month before mine. And she’s gorgeous, cuter by the month. I love her little smile there. And I’m wondering if she still sleeps through the night? My daughter’s great sleeping habits spontaneously combusted at about 3 months, and it’s been a rough ride since. I’m not worrying too much about it, however, because any new “habits” I teach, she’ll only grow out of anyway. But is there anything new you’re doing now that she’s older?

Yay, my favorite day of the month! I’m sure you’re already documenting this somewhere else but have you considered highlighting the new developments she makes during the month in these posts? “This past month Eleanor rolled over, held herself up, had her first tooth, said her first word, etc., etc.?” Thought it might be really sweet :) Though I understand these are big events and they might require their own posts altogether!

Ha! Yes, I bought the same onesie (from Old Navy) in various sizes. Then I’ll have E in the same dress from 13-24 months. :)

These pictures are great! I was wondering if you have any creative plans for them when one year is complete. I’ve been doing this with my son (who’s now almost ten months!) and I would love to send the photos to family and friends in an interesting format, but I have yet to come up with anything good…ideas?

Soooo cute! My son was born a week after her- so her monthly photo has totally inspired me to do the same thing. Now, if only I had a funky rocker instead of a ratty old sofa covered by an old sheet so that spit-up doesn’t ruin it….
