(I’ll be taking a photo of Eleanor sitting in the Eames rocker and wearing her pin each month until she’s two years old.)

Simply adorable! It boggles my mind that in her next picture, she’ll be a year old!!
What a cutie! She looks A LOT like your husband in this new pic.
love how she is pointing her toes in this one
actually now i am looking at all of them together she is doing the toe pointing thing in the last three :)
She’s so adorable!!! Can’t believe she’ll be one in a month! :) Have you got anything planned to celebrate?
I can’t believe she’s almost one! Then again she’s grown so much! Ah kids are crazy :P
I love the fresh flowers in the background- the photographs are staged so consistently, but there’s that little hint of Spring that shows time passing.
You know, these photos are causing the worst baby-fever in the blogosphere!
OMG she is almost a year!
How cute!
Congratulations!!!
xx,
A.
that is so cute! you have a pink onesie in every size! congrats to you — she’s almost one!!
I can’t believe it’s almost been a year already! Time flies!
What a cutie! Until now she looked like a baby but in this photo she is looking like a (small) person. Almost a year, wow!
I love looking at these! She is 4 months behind my first son, so it’s fun to watch her catching up!
Love it! My little girl turned 11 months today. I wish I’d discovered your blog sooner so I could have monthly pictures.
My, my how sweet. Actually I think that she’s beginning to look like her Mom.
It’s so nice to see her grow and change. Adorable! I have an 8-month-old and enjoy seeing Eleanor who is a few months ahead of my Elizabeth. What fun it is!
And, as an artist, I like seeing the quality of light change in these photos, too. Beautiful work, Nicole. It is clear you enjoy being a mom. (Isn’t it great?)
So cute! What happened to your nailhead curtains? I see you decided to put up the yellow ones instead. If you don’t have room for them anywhere else–I’d be happy to buy them from you :). I have the perfect spot for them!
Wow, she’s really growing up fast ~ what a cutie!
P.S. I just wanted to thank you for always answering our {my} many, many questions about your fabulous decor. I know you are a busy woman, and it means a lot to have you take the time to find answers for the plethora of questions you receive each day. So thanks! :)
She just gets cuter and cuter each month….love that you share these with us :)
She’s so cute in her cool Eames rocking chair! :)
Congrats for the little princess and the Top 10 California resource !
awww she’s growing up so fast..! a great great way to remember her each step of growth.. *melts*
Amazing! She’s almost one!! It’s been lovely to see her grow up!
That’s the BEST idea. You shouldn’t stop when she’s two though, go on for as long as she’ll let you! ;)
always adorable!
I think it’s a cool idea and you have an adorable little daughter.
I don’t understand why parents have to put photos online. I mean, of course they’re proud and stuff… I totally get that. But.
It’s a debatable point but I think children should decide what things about them will be put online when they’re old enough to consider and live with the consequences.
I mean, I wouldn’t have wanted kids in school to banter me about some (maybe cute but in that situation awkward) photos my mom put online. It’s already enough that she’s telling stories to my g/f and her mom (“oh and when little Nick ate his spinach, the whole kitchen was green afterwards, hehehe”).
Or I wouldn’t want some weird people to come up to my kid and say “Hi, you’re Susy, right? Your mom Sonja sent me to pick you up, she’s had an accident. I’m a collegue from work at the whatever company, so you can trust me.” (… which he all picked up from her blog, of course).
Really no offense intended.
Agreed from a security point of view its better to be safe than sorry. Shame we can’t all show off our kids as much as we’d like, but I guess thats just the way the world is now :( Its a minority we have to worry about obviously – but still the worry is there.
I’ve worked in child protection and there were huge restrictions about what children we could put photos of online and in our print material.
Shes so so gorgeous tho – such a cutie. Can’t believe shes going to be one so soon! Not trying to be offensive either.
I don’t think Eleanor will be mocked because of any photos I’ve posted. I’m mindful to not put anything embarrassing online. I’m also mindful of security. We will explain to Eleanor (and her teachers when she starts school) that someone may know her name even though they are a stranger.
Meant to say I don’t agree about the point of kids bantering about old photos of each other. Don’t think you need to worry about anyone saying anything about pics of Eleanor when shes under two!!
wow what a debate to start! I can see both sides, the security issue is valid, as I sell from home I choose not to blog with pictures of my children as my address has to be more public, but regarding any mocking- just having a baby picture online is hardly embarassing, and children can find anything innocent a source of teasing so you should hardly stop expressing your love for them just because they might get teased for it one day! It does seem like Dominic is perhaps a teen or still thinking like one with as few adults would be so touchy about school teasing or the spinach story, such types of stories are rarely mentioned once the child is old enough to be bothered as few parents really try to embarass their children.
I think the photo idea is very special, my mother took photos or her 4 children when they were aged 2 and then her 11 grandchildren too, and we now have a special gallery tracing our history of family likenesses, which is very touching to me as a parent.
sorry to ramble on so!
Totally agree.
No worries on the mocking front – all kids will find something to mock about!
Agree the photo idea is cute :)
Just thought no harm thinking about the security issue. I’m sure you’ve thought it through Nicole and figured its ok.
I can’t believe how quickly she has grown… seems just a week ago I found your blog and saw the first picture! With two little ones of my own, I say keep being a proud mama, and don’t worry about the pics online, she will treasure the fact that you loved her enough to take a TON of pictures {coming from another picture-aholic}
I can’t believe what a smile it brings to my face to see that little doll each month. Touching her little toes – how sweet is that?
She looks a lot like your husband!!!
I cannot believe how quickly she has turned 11!!! seems it was only yesterday that you were painting that rug out on your porch before giving birth… amazing.
She is so cute…. what are you doing for her birthday???
You will be telling us about her first birthday party, right?
And you may have missed it, but I sent you a tweet asking what diaper bag you use.
Thank you!
i can’t believe how mature her face got this past month! i know that the last one was more of a profile, but dude! that is amazing to see that. still wishing i would have jumped on this wagon earlier. ahhhh well. :)
I just wanted to say I am a huge fan of yours and you inspired me to take pictures of my little baby girl every month too. I love yours!

WHAT?!?!?!?! I visit your site every so often and I love it. I seriously did a double take when I saw that your baby love is 11 months old. I remember your 1st posting about posing her in the chair every month till she is 2. Time is flying. Off to hug my own lil munchie now. Thanks for letting us in to your life ;-)
I’ve been reading your blog for a while and love your sense of style!
I’ve been considering getting the eames rocker and wanted to ask if it is comfortable. Is it comfortable for nursing as well?
Oh lordy… how does it go so fast??
Darling girl, darling room! Love it all.
Out of control cuteness!!!
She is so sweet…:)
