I remember reading your post on getting elephant things for Eleanor and I saw this and thought of you guys.

    http://www.zoechicco.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=29_1_11&products_id=246

I know it’s a little much for a baby, but I’m thinking like Sweet 16 or 21st. It’s super cute. Just in case you were planning ahead. =)

    • Making it Lovely
      April 16, 2010 at 12:18 pm

Ooh, I want one for me! I would wear it all the time to symbolize my little Eleanor. (Yeah, I may as well give up on avoiding the Eleanor/elephant thing.) And her birthstone is a diamond. Is it not the perfect mother’s day gift for me? And then I could pass it down to Eleanor on a milestone birthday… I’m getting sentimental just thinking about it.

  • Kat
    April 15, 2010 at 2:45 pm

This might be an odd question, but do you have to iron the dress after it’s been in the wash? I didn’t buy the Liberty dress because ironing a dress for daughter would be a waste since it wouldn’t stay wrinkle free for very long!

    • Making it Lovely
      April 16, 2010 at 12:19 pm

No way, I wouldn’t bother ironing clothes for a baby! The dress has been fine. Maybe a little wrinkly, but not to the point of bothering me.

Wow – these are darling photos. An above commenter is right – they could be photos for a catalog – I’d buy it all! Speaking of which – I’ve already got a liberty dress for my little darling – but the chair. I’ve been wanting chairs similar to yours for a while, but have been holding off because of fear of rain soaked, moldy cushions. Do you have to do anything special for weather (ie, bring inside every night, etc) or can you just leave them be? I’m afraid it would be such a hassle…

  • Melissa
    April 16, 2010 at 2:42 pm

I remember when you wanted this chair. You mentioned how lovely it would be to curl up with a baby and sit outside in your garden. Here you are not only with the chair, but a baby too.
I love the picture of Eleanor examining a little piece of nature in her hand.

Eleanor is inheriting her mother’s chicness (is that a word?). She’s too adorable. Love the outfit, love her next to the fab pillow. And the photo of her peaking out the hole is too cute. I’d be tempted to blow that one up huge. Probably difficult to decide which pics to blow up, they’re all so cute! Can you do a shot of her in an astronaut outfit one day?
