I can’t decide which one I like more! This year, I’m determined to not be bugged by my Christmas decorations. Wheither that is not putting much up, changing it completely or keeping the tree bare, I hope to feel better about it this year!

Oh, bummer! I think they must have just sold out. Try calling your local store(s) to see if they still have one!

I bought that tree topper on ebay a few weeks ago for less than retail! I love it because it looks like the one the Abominable Snowman puts on the tree in the claymation Rudolf movie. :)

Ebay has everything. I don’t like retro so much because I lived through it.
But this is a beautiful post. Like your new picture, but I really loved the red hair. What’s new with the basement? America wants to know.

Love it! And I am so excited because my grandmother just gave me some of her mother’s ornaments, which look like the Martha Stewart ones except they really are vintage!

i would’ve normally been vehemently against the idea of a white christmas tree, but now, looking at the photo, i actually kind of dig it! hmmm is it too late to spray paint my tree white?

Treetopia’s trees are absolutely beautiful… but did you know Rite Aid sells 6′ white Christmas trees for $20? Granted, the don’t have lights built in, and they’re not super tall, but I just bought a 3′ white tree for $10 there and it looks great!! My little white tree looks just like your post now, thanks for sharing :)

Retro & pink! What more could a girl ask for? And who would’ve thought a white tree? Completely adore it.

I am a retro christmas girl myself and I love that tree topper! But I absolutely cannot replace the one I have – it is a metal star taken from a dumpster when my very old next door neighbor passed away when I was a kid! Couldn’t believe her family was throwing those treasures away.

This is indeed fun. It reminds me of the Sterling Cooper Draper Price Christmas party. Great inspiration!

Since the tree topper is sold out, I did some research and came up with these alternatives. I ended up doing a search for moravian stars to get a similar star shape.

Less 3D but cute shape. With Glitter.

Similar shape – lights up, no glitter :
