Basement Bathrooms

Basement Half-Bathroom Design Board

Ta da, here’s the design for the basement half-bathroom! I found a mirror on eBay, thanks to a comment by Christina. I’m going to get that lovely print too, though obviously it will not be taking the place of a mirror (you guys, that was just a joke!).

Now I’m just waiting on shipping and a little free time to get everything in place. Sources for everything can be found here.

Fabulous. The wall color has definitely grown on me, and the room came together beautifully. Another great design!

Looks great! On a side note, how do you “draw up” your mood boards?

Beautiful! You could also put that saying around the mirror edges with Wonderful Graffitti. It’s really cute!

I’m such a sucker for that olive green! Love it. Gorgeous board – love that you’ll be able to get so many pretty things into a tiny room. Can’t wait to see the results! :)

Looks lovely! Is the sconce your only light in the bathroom? I’m working on a half bath also, and I’m afraid that one sconce won’t be enough lighting. I’m interested to find out if you also added any ceiling lights.

    Thanks!

There are two sconces, but they are the only lights. The ceiling is really low in there (just over six feet high), so we didn’t put any other lighting in overhead.

It looks great – I have been eyeing those West Elm lacquer nut bowls myself. I like the silvery one.

The octagon tiles are so cool and remind of the bathroom tiles in the historical house I grew up in, in Ohio.

You do such a great job on your mood boards!

I’m not usually a fan of the more traditional basin and toilet designs, but this should look very nice with the olive paint and colored nut bowls.
