The 4-6 Weeks Project (Week Three)

You love to take your stuffed animals on adventures through the house. You talk to them and have conversations that nobody else can understand, but you’re very animated while doing so. It’s really cute.
Basement Bathroom Accessories
The design is finally coming together now. I grabbed a ton of accessories (mostly from west elm and Anthropologie) so I could see how everything would work together. Here’s a narrowed down selection:
Not all of those will make it into the room, but most will. Here are a few more things I picked up that didn’t make the cut:
I thought I’d love those zigzags, but they just didn’t feel right for the space. Remember, these are the main pieces:

Plumbing fixtures provided by Vintage Tub & Bath.
And I chose a paint color! I used Benjamin Moore’s “Olive Tree” for the walls and ceiling. Originally that color was going to go on the floor in the studio, play space, and tool/storage areas, but I chose Martha Stewart’s “Mossy Rock” instead.
I still need to find a mirror or wall-mounted medicine cabinet, maybe a shelf or two, and some art, but I’ll figure something out. I’m just glad to have moved beyond the initial indecision stage where there are just too many possibilities to even begin.
