Let’s Get Dressed for a Rainy Day

Clearly I’m still thinking about this umbrella.

  1. Heritage Trench Coat
  2. Spring Trench
  3. Color Wheel Stick Umbrella
  4. Women’s Wellie Boot
  5. Ditsy Dots Rain Boot
  6. Clear/White Bubble Umbrella
  7. Vintage Spring Colored Pagoda Umbrella (Hello, doll!)
  8. Hunter Original Boots
  9. Marimekko Prenikka Umbrella
  10. Twill Trench Coat

I’d go with 7, 8, and 10. Or maybe 2, 3, and 4. How about you?

Oh, that colorful umbrella is just amazing. I also love the Marimekko one, like I love all their stuff. Marimekko patterns and designs are exactly what I enjoy the most about Finnish and Scandinavian design. Love the rainy day outfits but still wishing for many sunny spring days:)

I have #6 but it’s outlined in pink instead of white. I’d put that with #2 and #4. I love that you did this. I’ve been having a hard time getting stylish rainy day ideas.

That color wheel umbrella is awesome. As someone who lives in Seattle, I am on an eternal quest for cute rain gear. I must confess though, cotton twill trench coats don’t really cut it for actual rain–gotta have something waterproof:) I also like kamik rain boots–they’re super comfortable and a little more fitted in the calf–I find myself swimming in a lot of rain boots.

I bought that heritage trench (#1) during a 40% off-of-sale-prices-sale at Lands’ End and I LOVE IT. I wish they hadn’t run out of the khaki version because I would snap it up in a heartbeat if I could.

Just think how adorable the two of you would look walking down the street on a rainy day….or at the bus stop when that day (kindergarden)comes
