Jayne Glazed Ceramic Table Lamp

I was doing some research for a roundup over at Babble (15 of my favorite colorful and modern lamps!), when I came across the Jayne Ceramic Lamp. I’ve had this lamp in brown since 2006, and I was so excited to see that it’s still available. Here it is in our old apartment:

And here it is in the library, shortly after we moved in to this house:

And it’s still in the library now:

I bought mine at CB2 all those years ago, but the lamp is now available right here.

That is exactly what I’ve been looking for- too bad it’s a little out of my price range (we need two)

I love that lamp. Also, where did you get those yellow ball thingies pictured in a green vase in the last picture? I’ve been seeing them everywhere, and I’m wondering where I can find some.

How did you hang those beads up in your old apartment? Luv them!

The beads were Christmas tree garland from west elm. I hung them on a cheap café rod ($2), painted to blend in to the wall.

I remember you saying on the blog that you were going to reopen your shop soon! Any chance that you have designed a cute pink colored butterfly birthday invitation for my soon to be 5 year old? I LOVE your blog but haven’t ever seen your shop since I started following the blog while you were having babies and on temporary leave of your shop. I LOVE that rainbow invite you designed for your daughter’s birthday! My daughter claims when she turns 6 she wants a rainbow party! She has ALL her birthday’s planned out! She cracks me up!

Nicole, it’s so cool to see how that lamp gets transformed with each space! It’s a gorgeous lamp, too!

Also, thanks for sharing the beaded wall DIY. I might have to give that a go on one of our big boring walls!

I adore that lamp! I don’t think it will ever go out of style! I recently started a new career as a professional organizer with some decorating thrown in. Yesterday, I visited 2 houses for jobs and I am always surprised to see how little thought goes into lamps. A lovely lamp can be such a great asset to a room and all I am seeing are dinky cheap little lamps that do not help a room’s ambience at all! Angie
