I Love a Parade

I was in the Oak Park Fourth of July Parade with my Derby Lite ladies yesterday! August is too little to be away from mama for too long, so I walked the parade with him in a mei tai.

Sometimes I come across something so cute/sweet/charming/funny/pretty/inspiring/lovely that I just want to share it with you. These are the things that have made my honor roll.

I remember going to the Drive-in with my parents as a kid, and after seeing this I want to go again.
Simple toy + hot glue + shadowbox = cute art.

This is the rug that I was considering for my office. I like it, and the size (8′x8′) is a better fit for the room than the 5′x8′ one I have now. I’ve replaced my office chair though, so I’ll probably keep the rug I have now. Of course, now it’s on sale for 20% off, so this would be the time to buy if I’m going to. It has a certain KAPOW! that I like.
