- Amazing. Don’t you wish you could draw like that?
- Do you mind when bloggers turn off their comments? Pugly Pixel just did so.
- On serving two vocations.
- I want Julia Rothman’s new book.
I also write for Babble’s Family Style blog. Here’s what I’ve been sharing there…
- Speaking of new books, did you see that Sharon Montrose has one out? It’s called Menagerie.
- Christmas ornaments, or dollhouse furniture? I suppose it’s all in the eye of the beholder.
- Channel your inner Laverne.
- Kate Spade surprised us with a big sale.
- Add a little character to your clothes. Literally.
- Hey, if the alphabet can line nursery and kids’ room walls, why not a parade of America’s leaders, past and present?

I noticed that on puglypixel yesterday. I wonder if it was so she wouldn’t feel obligated to reply to all of them. She is so good about doing that.
She had good reasons in her post. I always love knowing the thought process behind the way each blogger runs their blog.
Loved the Jen Lee piece — thanks for sharing the link.
I didn’t know Sharon Montrose had a book out! I LOVE her prints (we have 3 in the nursery). Thx for sharing, Nicole!
P.S. Ever since I saw the Jenny Lind crib in Eleanor’s nursery a few yrs ago, I KNEW that when the time came for us to get a crib I HAD to have the Jenny Lind. So thx for inspiring me, as always. =]
Thanks. Your nursery is so sweet, and the crib looks great in there! And I love that spray-painted garden stool color.
oh my goodness thank you so much for posting that link to Pugly Pixel’s post. I just read it and I pretty much just had this same exact conversation with Jules on Thursday. I let the number of comments I get negatively affect me and that’s just stupid I know, but I’m sensitive. And when I work really hard on a tutorial and it gets 2 comments it is depressing and frustrating. She is on to something and I’m saying that here I guess because I can’t say it on her blog :) Anyhow, thanks for that
