Winter Birds Free Printables

These birds were painted last year by Becca Kallem. Visit her blog to grab the full set (there are twelve birds in all), and you can print them out to use as ornaments or gift toppers.

An iPhone Goes Better With…

Perhaps you know someone who already owns an iPhone, or perhaps you’re surprising someone with one, but either way a pretty case is a good idea. And oh boy, would that Little Printer be extra credit! It won’t be available for the holidays, but they will be taking pre-orders soon.

Hello Little Printer, available 2012 from BERG on Vimeo.

My Colortopia

One of my favorite things to do is to choose paint colors. One of my other favorite things to do is to talk about do so. Clearly it’s a good fit that I’m now writing over at the new blog, My Colortopia.

I’m happy to be in such good company too! There are some great bloggers contributing. I’ll be adding a new article every month, and my first is already up: Tips for Choosing Paint Colors. Take a look if you’ve ever wondered about the nuances of picking the perfect shade.

I have partnered with Glidden/ Akzo Nobel Paints to participate in the My Colortopia program but the thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.

Honor Roll

Sometimes I come across something so cute/sweet/charming/funny/pretty/inspiring/lovely that I just want to share it with you. These are the things that have made my honor roll.

I also write for Babble’s Family Style blog. Here’s what I’ve been sharing there…

  • Feeling the pull of the dark side? This wallpaper appeases decorators and Star Wars nerds alike.
  • Sparkle, sparkle! I do love a bit of gold glitter for the holidays (or any day, really).
  • I want to crank these cuties up. (Hello, teen/tween gift idea.)
  • We have liftoff!
  • Not the most exciting of home purchases, but a must for many as winter approaches.
