I’m in Wisconsin, in a place that looks like this.
Doing things like this.
It’s super fun. I think my students learned a great deal tonight, too.

No, seriously! It was a great class! You are super inspiring and wise and adorable. Thanks.
I am so bummed I missed it!
True story, I signed up and paid for “The Organized Blogger” class last month. The day of the class I kept having this nagging feeling that I was forgetting something…Yup. I am too disorganized to remember to ATTEND a class on organization.
I had every intention of taking your class tonight, but had a meeting-it’s one that I’ve had my eye on each time it come up on the ALT channel. Hoping you’ll offer it again soon?
Welcome to Wisconsin!
Bwahaha @ photo. Awesome.
Well I hope you also get some non-working time in Nicole!!! Looks like a lovely area :)
Ha! Love that second pic…taxidermy tea party? ;) What a beautiful place!
I heart WI. The two classic backgrounds of any WI vacation photographs–lakefront and cabin/taxidermy. My album also includes a pic of me indulging in curds–not a pretty sight. My family resides in Madison, which happens to have the best farmers market (Sat mornings). You should check it if you’re close.
I’m loving your blog! I gave you a shout out on mine yesterday. I’ve been obsessing about the idea of a Chicago Blog Podium since you wrote about it on a previous post…why not? I feel like it would be the perfect hosting spot. Food for thought…
[…] alone at a party and my best friend shows up…Perhaps I’ve found a taxidermy project to top all of the odd stuffed animals at my mother-in-law’s cabin? You should date an illiterate girl.…And you should marry a geek.…So you can experience the […]
I’ve had tea parties with stuffed teddy bears before, but never ones that had a previous life. This is too funny!
Fun!! We are in the WI Northwoods for the week.
The inlaws and hubsand pulled out on Sunday night. I am up here with two kids and two dogs. First night alone, kinda scary. We made it to sunrise. :)
oh my goodness! i love and follow your blog but I missed this when it was originally posted. I had to comment because my boyfriend is from Wisconsin and visiting there with him is always wonderful. We were actually just there a few weeks ago to attend his sister’s wedding and I must have filled my computer’s entire hard drive with pictures and video. It must have been maybe our second or third day there and I made a comment about how every home or building you walk into seems to have a deer head or some other taxidermied critter in it. so, this post definitely made me smile and helped to confirm my theory :)
