  • Hmm… after review, i’m not sure that this is “his blog” but it seems to be the first publishing of this essay. The last line of this version is different than the one that’s going around tumblr.

  • have you read the original “you should date…” essay from the author’s blog? i just found it today. It has a different ending, and changes the tone completely.

    I hope that “You should date an illiterate girl” is pure sarcasm. It was a repulsive read! I don’t understand where you’re coming from by placing this on your Honor Roll! I always love everything you post but this is really weird.

      The whole thing reads as a love letter to the girls who DO read, the ones who have big dreams and wild ideas. It is sarcasm.
