Birthday Sweetness

My birthday was on Saturday. I wouldn’t normally write a recap of what Brandon got for me (3 books, a Lego set, and a necklace), but he presented everything in such a sweet, clever way that I wanted to share. The gifts were numbered, to be opened in order, and he created a little booklet of explanations to go along with each. This is what he wrote.

Birthday Gift

  1. Vintage Cakes

  2. The Wallpaper Book

  3. Lego Architecture Farnsworth House

  4. Wonderful Life with the Elements (this is my favorite of the gifts!)

  5. Lemon Zest Confetti Necklace

Way to go, Brandon! I love thoughtful gifts like these. I’ve always been a pretty good gift-giver, but my husband always seems to do so much better. He not only finds things I love, but it’s usually even unexpected, which is amazing. I might even have to get the periodic elements book for him. He’d love it.

Happy belated birthday, Nicole! I know you will enjoy the Farnsworth House set! It was a neat place to visit and a sweet little reminder of my time there (my husband got the Legos for me last year and I have it sitting in my office along with Lego Fallingwater). How sweet of your husband!
