November 29, 2012 at 6:52 pmUm..hello FUN! ;-) Best Christmas season ever.
oh really?
November 29, 2012 at 7:06 pmdarling pictures of christmas merriment.
surely your ego isn’t so big, that you would suppose your own photograph was the inspiration behind these?
hmmm…

November 29, 2012 at 9:26 pmThe post contains no references to Nicole’s own photos. She credited the inspiration photo to another blogger at The Pink Couch. All you need to do is click on the link she provided to see that.
Kimberly
November 29, 2012 at 9:31 pmSurely Nicole’s ego has nothing to do with it since she credits the original idea to The Pink Couch blog.
Making it Lovely
November 29, 2012 at 9:59 pmI could see how it was misinterpreted. I had linked the phrase “this photo from last year” to the source, The Pink Couch, but I’ve since changed the wording to make it more clear (“this photo from The Pink Couch last year”).

November 30, 2012 at 5:19 amEvery year in Ottawa, I go in the Byward Market to see people buying Christmas tree and putting them on the top of their car. And every year, it makes me smile and makes me really happy! I LOVE this time of the year!

November 30, 2012 at 10:05 amIt’s a trend I’m totally okay with and plan on participating in! I just love nostalgia for Christmas.

November 30, 2012 at 1:35 pmThis will be our Christmas card theme this year. We are putting a tree on top of my son’s cozy coupe play car and have him driving it-had no idea we were so on trend lol

November 30, 2012 at 4:10 pmHa! I’m all over that bandwagon too ;) But it seems everyone is because I had a tough time finding vintage cars and resorted to a DIY dollar store version, lol.

I first came across them in Vintage Junky’s etsy shop. She’s got some pretty cute ones.

December 1, 2012 at 8:09 amOh my gosh!!! I love this post. I sold tons of these wreaths in 2009, maybe it was a hint of a big trend to come? I think the VW bug is the very cutest one I’ve seen but the hanging ornament is really fabulous as well. Thanks for rounding these up Nichole!

December 1, 2012 at 9:06 amToo cute! Reminds me of my childhood. This one particular year, my dad decided not to have a tree delivered & wanted the whole family to go out & get it ourselves. Big mistake! He struggled a bit and finally tied it on the top of the car & just before making it home the tree fell off. Luckily, the tree was only a block away so we ended up carrying it home.
Very nice post, by the way~

December 2, 2012 at 1:55 pmIt totally is! We are using our white tree this year, but I really wanted to buy a real tree so we could put it on our 1974 BMW and take a family picture. Maybe this trend will last through next year.xo

December 16, 2012 at 9:42 amI just came across this blog via Pinterest. When I was younger I would count trees on top of cars/trucks every Christmas. My mother started to buy me ornaments and such of cars/trucks. Now almost 29 years old my collection has over a 100 things from a truck and tree salt and pepper shaker to earrings and everything in between. Yes I also have a pair of underwear with a woody with a tree on top!!! My Christmas card has had this theme for the last 10 years, this has been a feet some years seeing how this wasn’t always a trendy theme!
It’s been so much fun being able to beef up my collection this year with this being a trend. Some years I would search far and wide for just one little trinket of this theme and never find it! The only down side is with it being not so unique this year(thus to shall pass,) it’s not as special when I do find something or its soldout ie Pottery Barn!
