This is why I’m not a model.
That skirt though? That’s the reason I posted the photo (another by Arnold Klein).
It’s on sale, about half off, and it’s amazing. It pairs well with a simple top, tucked in, and with heels (in brown, red, camel, black, whatever). Definitely my new favorite thing to wear.

i think that you would make a terrific model. I like photos that showcase people being happy and having fun. Definitely better than the too serious face most models wear in catalogues.
So true!
Ditto! They look anorexic and very pi**ed off? Also what is with all of the crotch shots? Even high muckety mucks are posing with their legs akimbo? I am too old for this new world.
This photo is EXACTLY why you should be a model! It’s fun and interesting and alive. Like you! Your hair looks awesome too. xo
I think you’re on to something Nicole! If I saw your photo in a magazine wearing that skirt, I’d want that skirt! There’s something refreshing about seeing the skirt worn in true life. I would love a magazine that featured everyday folks wearing the clothes. I would order more often!
Gosh, your hair is adorable.
If anthropologie used more adorable, happy, non-model models, I would buy their clothes. How can I possibly judge if a skirt would look good on me, when their models are chihuahuas and I am a golden retriever?
Ha!
Haha. So adorable. You make an awesome model with personality.
so cute! bummer – the shirt you linked to is super cute but it’s out of stock :(
Oh, darn. It wasn’t when I first linked to it. Limited and Old Navy both tend to carry similar, inexpensive tops on a regular basis though, if you’re looking for another option.
Oh man, I’ve had my eye on that skirt. So glad you got it! :)
Gosh your hair looks lovely.
Stop posting photos of your new hair do!!!! (ok, I don’t actually mean that). I am even more tempted to chop off my locks every time I see yours.
I dare you to stop being so adorable! Btw – that haircut is seriously rad. I’m down with the midi skirt coming back in style. Not sure I can personally pull it off seeing as I’m 5 foot 0, but I love it on others.
Happy Monday,
E
Let me join the band wagon to tell you how freakin’ cute your hair cut is!
You are all very kind.
I agree with Melanie, Emily, Hannah, and Teri etc. Adorable and fantastic. Enough said :)
Your hair looks so good. Love the skirt, but where is that yellow top from? It’s lovely.
I think that you are a good model, as you looks good in the Picture..
So retro…your entire look…love it.
You’re still the cutest thing ever! I think you make a great model. :)
I’d love to see what kind of photos they’d take with you in your light pink, maxi, ballerina-esque skirt! This skirt is cool, but that skirt had me swooning.
I still love that skirt, too.
The skirt is awesome…but your pic is even more awesome.
Okay…I NEED those glasses. Please tell me where those came from!
I’m definitely on the “love your hair” bandwagon. So I have to ask – how is the upkeep so far? I’d love to go short, but I’m scared of the maintenance…
Just came across your site through Creative Boom. Love the shoes! Love love love em. :)
I’ve been your reader for years (Finn living in UK) and have same aged boy as you, but now is the first time I’m actually commenting… I LOVE YOUR HAIR!!!! It suits you sooo well. Well done!!!
you look great! i think your new hair has totally transformed you! not everyone can pull it off, but hot damn you look amazing!
You are an absolute doll!
wow i guess it’s been too long since i’ve stopped by! i LOVE the new hair! I think it really brings out your features, looks gorgeous!!
I agree with all the others – your hair is fabulous and it makes me want to chop mine off! But I have another question…where did you find the yellow shirt you’re wearing there? It’s gorgeous!
Thanks! The shirt was from Anthropologie, a few seasons ago.
just purchase the skirt, and because they did not have my size, they called another store, and they shipped for free, and it was on sale.
