- Doesn’t this look like the sweetest spot for reading?
- Fauxdenza! (When will that word make it into the dictionary already?)
- Cut it out.
- This little pouch is so cute, and so easy to DIY!
- I am all for turning awkward spaces into libraries.
- And speaking of libraries, Milk and Bookies is a great idea for spreading books throughout a community. And their introductory video is adorable.
I also write for Babble’s Family Style blog. Here’s what I’ve been sharing there…
- A beautiful coat for curvy women, in sizes S – 3X.
- Bring a little of the big city to your desktop!
- I bought these in pink (of course).
- Have you seen the new Babble Voices section? Well done, Babble.

Great list, but the “Cut It Out” post bums me out…this person was obviously, uh, influenced by artist Jimmy Marble, who sells these banners at ReForm School in LA…he did our window displays around Valentine’s day this year and the phrases and text style are duplicates of his. Makes me sad. This is a shot a blogger took of one of our windows in January…

Thank you for naming the artist. It looks like an exact copy, so my hope is that it was by him.
Oops, I meant February. :)
I’d never heard of a “fauxdenza” until now and I LOVE IT!
I mean, they may have purchased them from him directly but there’s no credit given so it’s making me worried. I hope they’re actually Jimmy’s…
I hope so too. I tried to follow the original source, but it’s Tumblr, which tends to murk up original sources in general…
I’m totally in love with the cityscape desk organizers. I’ve been wanting one. Are those q tips on that top picture? I swear some people creativity is crazy amazing.

In the Poppytalk comments, Jimmy says that it’s his. Yay…no internet theft scandals this time! :)
Thanks so much, Nicole, for including my DIY on your honor roll!! What a treat. Thank you.
