  • @ Bethany… i TOTALLY agree! If they were a bit more staggered, it would look great. As they are, it just looks accidental. Like someone hung the frames, thought they were straight, backed up to take in the view and realized they were off but didn’t fix it.

    @Liz – That was my exact feeling too! If the frames were just a bit more off, it might be ok, but I just want to adjust them so they line up.

  • I love this concept! I enjoy blogs largely because bloggers tend to reveal the messy, the process and the imperfect in a way that many design magazines and books hide. I love the idea of a book that celebrates impefection. Must find immediately!

  • I’ve seen that room somehwere before… maybe House Beautiful a few months back. Those are my all time favorite colors… Soft creams and browns, worn woods and sea glass blues & greens. It’s gorgeous, *but* the misalignment of those frames makes me twitch.
