Five Things That Inspire Me

My time in the Blog it Forward lineup has come, and today I’m sharing with you the things that inspire me.

Femininity

The unapologetically pretty. The confidence and strength of owning one’s femininity.

Thank you, Victoria, for organizing Blog it Forward. The baton was passed to me yesterday by make something, and now let me pass it on to max and ellie for tomorrow. Also, be sure to check the full Blog it Forward schedule, as there are ten blogs participating and sharing their inspiration each day!

Red Hair

I did it! One item from my 30 Before Thirty list down, 29 to go.

Red Hair!

I had my hair dyed at a salon, but it was not without difficulty. My appointment consisted of hair dying, drying, washing, bleaching, washing, dying, drying, and finally done.

It’s a fun color though!

Award Yourself

Pin an award to your lapel! I did this today, inspired by my own style post, and it’s making me very happy.

Fourth Grade Solo Champion!

I won this award 20 years ago when I played clarinet in the fourth grade. It says:

Illinois Grade School
Solo
Music Ass’n

Do you know how funny an award that says “Ass’n” is to a fourth grader? I still think it’s funny.
