bookcases
We have a lot of DVDs, so we store them in those bookcases.
The letters that spell "eat & drink" were a Christmas gift from my mother-in-law a few years ago. She didn’t tell me what they spelled, and wanted me to figure it out. I opened them all up, thought for a second, and exclaimed "Oh! Read & knit!". Well, yes… that works too, but she intended for "eat & drink"!

The bookcases are just plain old 'Billy' bookcases from Ikea with the matching doors.

"Read & Knit" is the best thing I've heard in while. I love it!! ...and your apartment's not too shabby either. i worked at cb2 for a few months, so mine's a cross breed between swedish/ikea & chicago/cb2, but nowhere near as nice and polished as yours. i think it's absolutely gorgeous ;)
