see, now that's exactly what I've been wanting to do with my bathrooms. Take down that hiddeous mirror cabinet and plop a mirror and lights op there exactly like this. I was hoping that your re-do using that mirror cabinet would inspire me to hang on to it, but looks like you had to get rid of it too. I'd hate to lose the storage it provides though.

It's an IKEA mirror, yes. We were going to leave the medicine cabinet, but after switching out the lighting, we realized it wasn't going to work. The lights didn't clear the top of the cabinet, and there would have been some harsh shadows. We did add the medicine cabinet to the right for some storage.
