Oh, now I'm really in love. The weird thing is I do love this tile and the fact that the floor matches. However, they just don't work together. Whatever you do, please preserve your discards as best you can when removing them, I'm sure there are a lot more people like thisisloveforever and I that would just love either look in their period homes. I mean the tile could be a great backsplash or facing brick steps on the patio or front stoop. So do you think you'll keep any of it?

I think we're keeping it for now... we had planned to work on the bathroom right away, but then we realized that there were other problems to take care of instead. Blue is actually one of my least favorite colors! I think we're going to embrace the blue though, and play it up. There's really no point in toning it down. ;) And yes, it is strange that the blue tub and toilet don't really go with the brownish/rust/cream tiles. When the time does come to redo the bathroom, we'll be careful to not destroy everything. It may not be my cup of tea, but I can appreciate the materials. They could look very cool (in someone else's house!).

The tub makes sense to me. But hey I painted my deck blue, {in a neighborhod of all more traditional deck adornments} biased to a colorful fault eh. I laugh briefly almost everytime I sit out there. Thats why I did it I think...
