around this time last year I served on a jury duty for a criminal court....it was fascinating but very exhausting and stressful...esp. the deliberation. I am also really astounded at how little people are compensated....there was a single mother who was picked and worked at a pizza place on the south side who didn't reimburse her. She was worried she wouldn't be able to afford her rent and my case only went for a week!

Hah! I was support to report to jury duty today, but as a SAHM mom I got out of it indefinitely (I would have to pay daycare to serve). B-O-N-U-S. ;)
