top of the bookcase
We don’t have a fireplace, but I treat the top of the bookcase like a mantel. I change things around a lot, but I usually have a grouping of white vases. I love the way the different shapes play off of each other.
That poster was for the 2003 (I think) book fair at Chicago’s Newberry Library. I grabbed it from the bookstore where I worked at the time.
