Fabric that coordinates with your pillows, possibly pieced, stretched over a frame?

Ha, when I saw this thumbnail, I thought you had a giant question mark over your sofa! Hmm, not a bad idea. :-) I like the fabric idea. Or maybe you could find some coordinating blik. That's different.

I am dealing with the same issue right now!
Where did you get your lovely coffee table?

Thanks, and keep 'em coming! :) OK, replies...
- I had a mirror above my sofa in the old apartment. I liked it, but I'd like to do something different this time.
- I LOVE the mourning dove! I think it's a bit too small to go above the sofa, but I may just have to buy it and put it somewhere else!
- Stretched fabric may be a good idea. Something from Hable Contruction or Marimekko perhaps?
- Somebody did a kitchen backsplash with bodoni type, and it was AWESOME! Maybe just a giant question mark? ;)
- The coffee table was from Target (Thomas O'Brien), but that was about a year ago.

Cat prints. :) Check out gigart.com - the two cat prints should be linked from the home page.

i like a pair of photos there. or one large one. i see something abstract and saturated with color. check out the abstract section of my friend's site: www.daniellericciardi.com/
that's the kind of thing i see there!

Check out the "Trees Stencilled on Linen" by creativelittledaisy (on Flickr). Even if you didn't do something exactly like that the subtlety and simplicity would work well in your space. Fabulous room though! I have no doubt you'll figure out something fantastic.

I'd love to see these by a little hut in a row over the sofa (maybe five or three larger versions?). All in slightly different designs.

Have you seen the vinyl decals that are sold on Etsy? There's some really funky stuff!

You have such a good taste and inspiration, I'm sure you'll find something simply great

Hello there! Thanks for visiting my blog.

A mirror. I love mirrors though. :) That or a very simple (almost silhouette style) print with minimal colors. If it gets too colorful it'll become the focal point of the room.
