kitchen after

It’s not 100% finished, but it’s functional (and so much better)!

That stove is sweet!

The stove is sort of scary/amazing. Food cooks so much faster! The burners are all different, and some are high output (I think they call them "power" something). Plus the oven can be a regular oven or convection. It's so super fancy! ;)

Fantastic job! I love the cabinet hardware. I can't wait to see the Amy Butler curtains...if you still decide to make them. That fabric will be perfect in there.

Nicole Balch wrote...
Yep, I still want to use the Amy Butler fabric. I'm not sure what kind of curtains to make though. Roman shades, maybe? I think that's beyond my skill level.

I love the metal pulls and want something similar for my kitchen. Your home improvements are just so inspiring!

Pink, it's beuatiful. The only "but" is stove. I think it's impractical, difficult to keep abosultely clear kitchen. This kind of stove - as another one thing - is worse then the plate with fire (I don't know, how it's called in English) is put inside the blade of cupboard.

I absolutely love the little handles. You and your hubby have done an excellent job on the remodel!

*MUCH* better!

Oooh, roman shades would look great. They're a little beyond my skill level too though. I'm sure you'll figure out something fantastic. OK - here's the annoying question: What paint color/brand did you use in your kitchen? I love how warm and modern it is.

I found another great sewing book for you, Singer Simple Sewing: Home Decor Handbook. See the review here. I'm not sure if they cover Roman shades so you could maybe try what this woman did.

Nicole Balch wrote...
Oh, thank you! I think I might pick up that book, and the Roman shades link looked good.

Oh, and the kitchen color is "bronzed beige" by Benjamin Moore. It looks more orange in this photo than it does in real life.

It looks lovely. What counter surface did you use?

"Saddle Brown" Zodiaq Quartz.

Hi, I love the stove. I am about to purchase a stainless steel stove for my kitchen. Can you tell me what brand it is? Everything looks wonderful. I LOVE the subway tiles for the backsplash in the future pictures.

Is that a Bosch? I just bought one. It's so awesome. I don't know how to set the clock, though. It's too complicated! I love your house, I'm going to check out your blog for sure!

Nicole Balch wrote...
Yes, it's a Bosch stove.
