I chopped off all of my hair last week. I’d been considering it, but I hadn’t really decided until I just went for it. Susan at Sparrow did an awesome job.
Also, it appears I was channeling August. We wore the same foxy sweater that day — Brandon chose it for him while getting him dressed, not knowing I was going to wear mine. Then I went and got a little boy’s haircut. His haircut. Twinsies! I am not sure how I feel about that, but I guess we’re pretty cute together.
Also, looking at these pictures, I’m realizing that maybe I should be tucking the little ends behind my ears. (And probably also showering before taking and posting giant pictures of myself, but whatevs!)

April 12, 2013 at 3:46 pmI LOVE your new do! I’m sure you’ve already fallen in love with how easy short hair is. So fresh and quick, which is perfect for a busy momma like you! Congrats… which is kind of a weird thing to say about a haircut but I know the guts is takes to chop is all off!

April 13, 2013 at 9:14 amI recently cut my hairs all off too! It has been great. Enjoy the shortness. It’s been fun. I find I have to wear a bit more make up though which I am not minding right now. It hides the lack of sleep I’ve been getting lately kinda well!
This is the post on the day I cut my hair.

April 22, 2013 at 8:02 amIt looks FAB!!!! And (sorry) so.much.better. Seriously.
Not like you weren’t beautiful before (you are always, even unshowered :-)), but this looks more like you and your personality (though I hardly know you and only through your blog).
You look younger, modern, stylish and fresher and you sparkle. Interesting, how a haircut can change so much, what a person looks like (the personality) or better said what a first impression it gives of a person and thus what we assume he or she is like.
And love the pic of you and A. So darn cute. Yes, the lengths of your hair might be about the same, but the cuts are way different. So don’t worry, you can leave both your heads alone.
So happy for you! xoxo from Germany

June 9, 2013 at 4:15 pmYou had me at short hair!!! I just found your blog through a Pinterest link today with the adorable August in the Eames chair…..and then I see your gorgeous, chic ‘do, so I had to tell you it’s stunning and perfect on you! I adore short hair and have a too-short-for-my-long/thin-face pixie cut right now….but it changes often. Enjoy your awesomeness:)
