Here’s to 2008!

I’ve never been one for resolutions. I do however keep a running checklist of sorts in my head… ideas for the house, goals for the blog and the shop, and fun things to do. This year, I’ve decided to write them down and share them. As Holly said, “When you write something in a public place for all to see you’re much more likely to commit to doing it”.

I’m sure there will be more to do as the year progresses. I’m new at this whole resolution thing, remember?

*edit* I thought of another…

Happy New Year!

Woow, that’s a mighty long list! Glad it wasn’t stated as a resolution list! But you do seem to move right along on your projects, so I know you can do this also!

Nicole, I just wrote my own resolutions in the comments on Holly’s blog, so it was amusing to stop by here & see that you’ve done the same.

I feel your pain about picking wallpaper for your dining room. My #1 resolution this year is to pick a new paint color for my kitchen. For the life of me, I cannot decide! It’s driving my husband and friends insane. Now I’m thinking of sending photos to every decorating blog I know & asking for opinions. Yes, I’m that confused. Siiiiiiigh.

YYYYYYAAAAYYYYYYYYY!!!!!! (you know what that is for!)

I’m not much for resolutions either but I found this http://triplux.com/dayzero/default.asp website last night. I’m working on my list right. So far I’ve come up with 50 or so.

Hurrah for Wordpress! (I’m such a dork). If you need any help, just hollah! It’s pretty easy though, you’ll love it!

I’ll second kerflop’s comment on Wordpress. Great software and very easy to customize your layout.

Hey, looks like Blogger ate the comment I thought I left yesterday afternoon…

“When you write something in a public place for all to see you’re much more likely to commit to doing it”

This is the principle that my whole blog is based on! ^_^

I love reading Resolution posts in blogs. It’s an extra little slice of the life of the author; it’s great! ^_^

I also love it when they do a recap post for the next New Year, and update us readers on what they did or did not accomplish from their previous Resolution list. ^_^

I know it’s not a resolution list but it is inspiring nonetheless. I just might put one up on my blog…though, truthfully, is a little scary. Yikers! Seems like a reasonable “to do” list that you’ve put together, Nicole. Congrats on the Stationery Show! Good for you! (Finally got to Paris in 2007 and it did not disappoint…glorious! Go, go, go!)
Happy 2008!

I hope you get to go to Paris. We went to France a few years ago and loved it so much, we dream of retiring there. Happy New Year! xoxo

Thanks, everyone! Happy 2008!

Good grief. You make my own goals look quite pathetic. And small. And simple. You’re going to be a super busy girl.

I just posted mine the other day … about half as many as you have. :) But they are all business goals - no personal ones listed. Yeah … so that’s my excuse.

Just found this blog! Thanks for making it lovely!

You can mark off so many already!!
