Brandon asked me yesterday if I wanted to see what our future child would be like…
“The shiny guy always worries.” Awwwwww.
Perhaps we should hold off on getting a dog and expand our family in other ways. ;)
A bulldog really seems like the perfect dog for us (with looks and personality!), but they are very expensive dogs. A puppy would be anywhere from $1500 – $2500, and they tend to have a lot of costly health problems and a short life span.
Brandon and I went looking for a dog to adopt this weekend, but we were unsuccessful. We went to three different shelters, but we just didn’t find the right dog for us.
Brandon would like a smooshy-faced dog. Ideally, a bulldog.
I’ll have to do a bit more research, but I took a little quiz and the bulldog and I are apparently well suited. That’s good. I also like French bulldogs. They’re kind of smooshy-faced, so I think Brandon would probably like them too.
How does one go about finding a dog? It seems sort of strange to just google. Our kitties were strays, so I really have no experience in looking for a certain breed. Any tips?
I just saw a kitchen on HGTV’s Spice Up My Kitchen with the same finishes as mine. I’m sure there are others out there too (I’m not claiming mine is all that unique), and of course there were differences, but it was just sort of funny to see.
Like mine, this kitchen has white cabinets, a white subway tile backsplash, stainless steel appliances, yellow walls, brown quartz countertops, and wood floors. The kitchen also had a red blender and coffee maker, whereas I have a red stand mixer.

Sometimes I look at my kitchen and wish I had done certain things differently. If we had a bigger budget, I could have done so much more. Our kitchen only cost 1/4 of what the kitchen above did though!
