The Pink Christmas Tree is Here

Pink Christmas Tree

I love it.

I do wish the lights were clear, but I can change them eventually. At night, the hot pink lights take the tree from kooky and fun to over-the-top bordello! Also, the 7.5′ version would have been a better height, but it would have been far too wide for the room. We ordered the medium-sized “wooden” tree stand you see in the photo, hoping that it would add some height. We only got a few extra inches from it, but it does look nicer than the wire stand that came with the tree.

I can’t wait to see what the tree looks like when it’s all decked out with ornaments!

So jealous of the pink tree! Our tree is a whopping 3 feet tall (standing on a 2-foot table makes it 5 feet tall). But we learned a lesson about big trees a few years ago when we adopted our cat…

i LOVE your tree! i’ve searched HIGH AND LOW for a pink tree in Australia… and NOTHING is to be found! It’s all too frustrating for me!

Never mind ornaments, it looks perfect NOW!

Oh. My. God. That thing is so beyond tacky that it’s utterly amazing. And, I honestly mean that as the highest of compliments!

Post photos of it decorated. Stat!!

I am not quite that brave!! The closest we got was the other year w/ a white tree. But I really admire your home and it looks absolutely fabulous :)

  5. HipMamaB December 5, 2009 at 11:39 am #

SO Jealous. I really wanted a pink tree this year.. was even going to get my real tree flocked pink (but they were out of the pink). SO cute – can’t wait to see the decorations.

  6. Camilla December 5, 2009 at 12:15 pm #

I think it’s seriously cute. Looking forward to seeing how you decorate it.

I’m a wee bit jealous. My husband would look at me and say, “I’m emotional, I like chick flicks, and I can enjoy a pedicure like no other, but no pink tree.” I know because I jokingly asked him about one last month and he gave me “the look”. It looks fantastic though!
