Remember when I asked if you would like me to share items from my wish list with you? This is how I’m going to do it. I’m combining my favorites along with items from my well said section.
- Download and print this beautiful photo (above) of umbrellas floating across the sky.
- Hello cute little Parisian home. I want to come and visit you.
- Eleanor would be so cute in this jane dress. Is it a sign that the only size they have left is the size I would buy?
- How cute is this scallop trim coat? (Answer: Super cute.)
- The Chicago west elm store has just opened, and it is stunning. Look at the twelfth picture to see my favorite part: an installation of white and yellow paper parasols.
- Jonathan Adler Junior! I love the lion rug – roar.
- This colorful bracelet would bring a whole lotta cheer to your wrist.
- Banners + pennants = instant happy.
- Isn’t this super graphic black and white striped hallway just perfect?
- I want this elepant brooch. Jules says it’s bad luck because the trunk faces down. I still want it.
- I need Brandon to shave his beard into a mustache and sideburns so that we can take a photo like this.

February 4, 2010 at 1:39 pmHello – the umbrellas are perfect for my house. I have a piece of umbrella artwork that my brother made for me and have been filling in with other things I find a long the way. It’s hard to find “happy” umbrellas; most are black and rainy!

February 4, 2010 at 10:25 pmLove the scallop coat. I wonder if scallops are going to be a new big thing? I just fell in love with the Orleans quilt from Garnet hill, which has big scalloped edges. It has several lovely colors but I adore the lemon:

February 11, 2010 at 8:45 pmhi nicole! i’ve been reading your website for a long time but i don’t think i’ve ever commented on one of your posts. i just wanted to say thank you so much for the picture of the umbrellas. i’ve been having a really hard time for the past year or so, being sick, having surgery, etc… and that picture totally makes me feel better. i printed it out, matted it, and hung it up in my apartment and i use it as a reminder that things will always get better.
so thanks for that and thanks to the original artist. he’s one talented guy. i LOVE the picture. *hugs*
