And I love this unseasonably warm 70 degree weather we’re experiencing. It’s so nice to sit in the yard together.
All right, let’s stay outside today.

she looks so adorable in her liberty prints!
The chair makes her look soooooo tiny!
Oh my daughter, Violet, had the same dress for Easter! What a doll!
Oh my goodness! Your daughter is so precious! That first photo kills me with the little curled toes. Too cute…
I bought my niece, Gabby, the same dress for Easter. :) She looks adorable!
Cute as a button! I love your egg chair too.
Such lovely pictures!
MaMa Eleanor(like we say in Africa LOL)
I just had to comment today! Eleanor is GORGEOUS! heart THE PHOTOS TODAY! Love the outfit!
I usually don’t comment on blogs too much, but I just had to say that these images are ADORABLE.
Beautiful, beautiful.
Aww, what a doll.
adorable!!
She looks so happy! What a cutie in the adorable dress and hat!
oh my goodness, this is your most adorable post to date.
how darling! she looks like a little flower!
awww her face has changed so much, she’s starting to really look like a little girl instead of a baby – so cute!
I love that pillow too, where’s it from?
The suzani pillow was from Pottery Barn (last year), and the black and white striped one is from IKEA.
Eleanor is SO precious!
Thank you for sharing her cuteness with us :-)
Nancy
What fantastic pictures! It looks like a magazine spread.
Gorgeous! (both the baby and the chair!) What a great choice; that chair is so friendly and warm–especially with the color pops of the pillow. love love!
This is simply too much cuteness.
Great pictures, colors, and I love Eleanor’s little chubby feet! My heart is melting looking at these photos.
oh my seriously cute overload. that chair is awesome and I love the print in her dress, totally adorable
Oh my god. Cuteness overload!! What a absolutely gorgeous little model you have there :)
Oh my goodness! She’s delicious! Great pictures!
I love Eleanor’s outfit — I assume it’s Liberty of London for Target?
Yes it is.
Cute! So jealous. I haven’t managed to score any of the Liberty of London baby clothes. All sold out.
Adorable!
And I love her outfit!
This should be a Liberty of London photo-shoot! Too cute :)
So cute!!
She’s so expressive and chic!
She is so adorable and I absolutely love that chair.
I want to gobble her up, she is so cute. And how lucky are you to have such nice weather.

I remember reading your post on getting elephant things for Eleanor and I saw this and thought of you guys.

I know it’s a little much for a baby, but I’m thinking like Sweet 16 or 21st. It’s super cute. Just in case you were planning ahead. =)
Ooh, I want one for me! I would wear it all the time to symbolize my little Eleanor. (Yeah, I may as well give up on avoiding the Eleanor/elephant thing.) And her birthstone is a diamond. Is it not the perfect mother’s day gift for me? And then I could pass it down to Eleanor on a milestone birthday… I’m getting sentimental just thinking about it.
Very cute! Love the foot photo!
Well, don’t we all love that egg chair? If only I looked as cute in that Liberty print, though.
look at her in her little liberty ensemble! how sweet is that???
This might be an odd question, but do you have to iron the dress after it’s been in the wash? I didn’t buy the Liberty dress because ironing a dress for daughter would be a waste since it wouldn’t stay wrinkle free for very long!
No way, I wouldn’t bother ironing clothes for a baby! The dress has been fine. Maybe a little wrinkly, but not to the point of bothering me.
I love this post! My favourite ever on your site :-)
Cuteness overload! Okay target cut her a check!!
Oh my goodness! She is just the most adorable girl on the planet! Love you blog, love your style and love the way you write and post. Your blog is one of my very favorites!
Mark my words, that chair will be her dollhouse/fairy princess castle/fort/favorite reading knook/favorite makeout spot over the years. Too cute.
I’m counting on it.
LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! EVERYTHING: ELEANOR, EGG CHAIR, WEATHER…absolutely everything!
Awe; how sweet! Glad you were able to enjoy a day in the sunshine together!
I LOVE your shoes! Where did you get them?!
J. Crew.
looks like a ad for target.
I love her Liberty for London dress + bonnet. She’s adorable. Hasn’t Chicago been amazing the past 2 days?
She just keeps getting cuter!! Maybe she can be the poster child for Liberty of London!! Especially so coordinated with the chair . . . I want one!!
A baby, or an egg chair? ;)
Oh goodness, she’s adorable. Lovely. It’s all quite picturesque.
Love the pictures, the dress, the chair, the baby!! Lovely, cute and so sweet, really!
love her in the liberty of london! precious
and ::sigh:: it is beautiful in the chicagoland area today
Just lovely. Like always!
She is ADORABLE, and her LoL dress is too cute! Love her in the egg chair :)
Oh my goodness, how sweet! Can we say “LOL Model!?”
I LOVE Eleanor’s dress!!! She’s pretty cute too.
I got my daughter Kate (5 1/2 months) two of the Liberty of London outfits! I have gotten so many compliments. I’m so glad you mentioned this line or I would never have been on the look out. By the way, Eleanor is beautiful!
soo cute!
Oh my LORD that dress and hat are gorgeous!! (and the baby, too;) Love those Liberty prints so so so much!
I would (and do) love the egg chair too! Love the silver bow flats. I love flats.
Eleanor is so sweet and the chair is fun but the photos themselves are gorgeous- definitely need to be framed!
You have an unbelievably adorable little girl!! Enjoy the wonderful spring with that precious little sweetie!
So cute! Love your outdoor furniture, by the way. Would you be willing to share how you made that “inspiration/collection board” of all of your outdoor stuff that you posted yesterday? I love when I see those. Great way to organize ideas.
I create my boards in Photoshop.
Precious! That’s a popular outfit. I got that one for my 2 year old as well:)
I bet she does love that cool chair. I do, too!
Adorable!
i spy liberty of london.
SO cute.
This post made me smile so much! She’s a cutie and your shoes are adorable.
I have been lurking for a while (I love it here!)! I just had to say that Eleanor looks absolutely adorable! I love that first picture.
Oooooh, she’s so cute and coordinated with the pillow! Such a sweet picture!
How adorable is she? Omg that dress is soooo lovely! I want one for myself! haahah
Oh! SOOOO sweet!
Oh my goodness-She is the most precious baby girl ever! Amazing pictures and awesome backyard!
She’s sooooooo cute! And the lovely clothes, of course with a fashionista mom, I expect nothing less. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the patterned pillow! Congrats on a beautiful little gilr. Oh, and the chair is great too :)
I just saw a woman wearing a trench coat made from this fabric today. Do you know who designed it?
It’s from the Liberty of London line at Target.
how precious!!! she made my day =D
Where did you find your shoes? I’ve been looking for little silver ballet flats for months!
Also, adorable photo spread.
They were from J. Crew.
Aww~ I have been staring at these pictures for…10 mins. Can’t get my eyes off her!! [I am suppose to be working..oops]
To adorable.
such cute pics. especially the first one, it could be an ad because she cooridinates so well with the pillow. i can’t remember if you said where you got the chair from? i am from chicago too and lovin the weather!
What great photos! And those chubby little feet…ADORABLE!!
Wow – these are darling photos. An above commenter is right – they could be photos for a catalog – I’d buy it all! Speaking of which – I’ve already got a liberty dress for my little darling – but the chair. I’ve been wanting chairs similar to yours for a while, but have been holding off because of fear of rain soaked, moldy cushions. Do you have to do anything special for weather (ie, bring inside every night, etc) or can you just leave them be? I’m afraid it would be such a hassle…
I remember when you wanted this chair. You mentioned how lovely it would be to curl up with a baby and sit outside in your garden. Here you are not only with the chair, but a baby too.
I love the picture of Eleanor examining a little piece of nature in her hand.
My favorite photo is the one with Eleanor and the dog. Nothing better than growing up with a doggie in the house. (Who needs siblings!–I’m an only child, obviously, who grew up with two mini schnauzers; they were my best friends.)
sweet and delightful photos!
Oh Eleanor is so lovely – just like her mother. I love your blog and happen upon it from time to time. … My daughter’s name is Lucia; she is 13 months, close to Miss E, I do believe.
PS. Love Eleanor’s Liberty outfit!
sooo cute! these photos are precious :) i especially love the one of both of your feetsies :)
Love her liberty outfit ~ sooooo cute!!
Eleanor is inheriting her mother’s chicness (is that a word?). She’s too adorable. Love the outfit, love her next to the fab pillow. And the photo of her peaking out the hole is too cute. I’d be tempted to blow that one up huge. Probably difficult to decide which pics to blow up, they’re all so cute! Can you do a shot of her in an astronaut outfit one day? I see her in an astronaut outfit with a daisy in her hand.
those toes… oh my! cute :)
Eleanor is such a cutie! Love the chair too.
love the dress pattern.
look how sweet elanor looks in her liberty of london duds.
