Eloquent Pro Font

The swashes! The contrast between thick and thin! Good golly, that’s a sexy typeface.

I’d love to see this as the star of a blog design. I miss doing design work for people and sometimes I think I would like to just make blog templates for fun. For fun! I have no idea of what a good time is, you guys!

Awesome! I try to find it but i don’t have credit card. I’m designer and tipograhpy lover!

    Hope help me!

  • Lovely typeface, i am partial to thick and thin mixes at a the moment! Do you know of any other tpefaces that mix the two weights? I cannot for the life of me find out how to find them. “Thick and thin typefaces” and “fonts with thin and thick lines” doesn’t help *sigh*

Gosh, if you ever want to make a blog design for me, just for FUN, you’re more than welcome!! :)

  • Ooooh, I heart that Ampersand and the S.

I’ve always stalked your design site and I know you haven’t been open for awhile. I’d definitely pay for you to redesign my site.

  • I’ve been smitten with Eloquent for a while and it’s on my font wish list. Swoon.

  • That one’s been on my wish list!

I too am a font geek. I just have to make myself stop looking because I can really get hung up on them. Crazy! Eloquent Pro is pretty fab though.

  • Oh you know I could totally do you a favour and let you redesign my blog. You know, like, just to help you out and stuff.

That font IS beautiful, though! It would look great on pasta sauce jars or a restaurant menu, but that’s probably because all those words now have me thinking about my stomach..yet again!

  • Well, I so very badly need a reboot of my blog’s layout. That is a really cool font, and I’m already thinking of all the ways to use it.

  • That ampersand reminds me of the one in my blog design. I searched forever for the right one!

Reminds me of Pampodour in Lost Type: http://www.losttype.com/font/?name=pompadour

A few designers put these fonts together for free. You can donate or download for free. :) thought you may enjoy a new resource.

I agree with Dana! Anytime you want to start designing blogs…you’ll have a definite customer!

  • Hey, the minute you want to have some fun and design a custom blog template for me, just ask. I’ll pay you for your fun!

  • Cute font! And if you are in need of a good time, please feel free to knock yourself out designing a template for my brand new (sad) little blog. Just kidding! But I do think you have great taste so thanks for always sharing all the fun stuff you find with us.

  • Speak of the devil! I was literallly looking at this font yesterday. I plan to update my blog soon, and I’d like to use this in the header….if you made templates, I’d be your first customer!

  • I’d seen that font around and always wanted to know what it was! I found a bunch of other swashy fonts in my search, but I couldn’t pin down this particular one. So thank you for posting this :D

  • Yes, go back to designing, I always wanted you to design something for me (don’t know your pricing so can’t say how much I can afford : D).

  • Aww! What a pretty font!

  • sigh… why do all the most beautiful fonts have to cost so much. dumb question, right?

i’m off to look for a copy on dafont

  • I love that ampersand in a way I can’t explain!

  • So fun looking!

  • How much have you invested in fonts? Do you think it’s well worth it? I’ve never bought one and am nearing the end of my rope with free ones. Any advice?

    • A

I’m all for paying for quality fonts. It’s part of my job as a designer, so it’s easy for me to justify the purchase (though I don’t buy nearly as many fonts as I’d like). The fonts now do so much through open type with alternate ligatures and swashes that free fonts just can’t match. Supporting the type designers is important too.

  • That is a pretty good-lookin’ font!
