More music I’ve been loving lately. Mates of State played a show in Chicago last Friday, and they played every single song I would have wanted them to. (Thanks, guys! Just for me, right?) Palamino is the opening track on their newest album, Mountaintops.

I love Mates of State! Actually went to college with Kori. I wish I could have made this show. I try to catch them when they are in town.

Mates of State are one of my husband’s and my favorite bands! We got to see them recently in Cincinnati. The new album is just gorgeous. Then a week later we saw our OTHER favorite band, Wilco, from your neck of the woods….it’s been a fabulous fall for music!
