It is a coincidence that I decorated with hearts for August’s first birthday party last week. (I associate Eleanor with elephants, and August with hearts. Because I’m odd.) Since the decorations were so well-suited to the season though, we’ve left them up.

The wallpaper is so lovely! I know the stress of removing wallpaper from the walls.. but that might be loved for years and years!

Happy Valentines day — and late birthday to August! My daughter’s birthday is Feb 20, so I must admit to taking advantage of all of the heart related items that go on sale after V day…perfect for goody bags! Nicole: I thought of you this weekend when creating today’s post. I think I know which red dress you would pick…

I just noticed your wallpaper! It’s awesome! Who makes it? And, lovely decorations. I would have left them up too :)

I love the paper fans (?) on the window. They look lovely with the light shining through them.
