I’m working with Fab again, this time to share my favorite quirky finds from their Valentine’s Day gift shop. As usual, I spotted some of my favorite independent designers among the offerings.
-
Son Of A Sailor Durango Pink Necklace
Pink and brass? Thank you for combining my two favorites into something I can wear around my neck. -
Rococco-LA Flowering Heart Print
Such a good print. -
AMINIMAL Central Park Earrings
This would be a sweet token to remember a New York romance by. Or for architecture nerds and urban planners – whatevs. -
Core Bamboo Heart Cutting Board
Is there symbolism in taking a knife to a heart-shaped cutting board? Maybe, but it’s just so cute. -
The Social Dept Baby Tee
I carried a watermelon. -
M.G. BAKER Bow Tie
I love this. Brandon wore a pink tie to our wedding, but bow ties are having their moment now. -
ASHKAHN a.bird, b. booty Print
Hey professor, what’s another word for pirate treasure? -
1965 Playboy Pair
Dirty magazines seem kitschy and campy when they’re vintage. -
chain chain chained Necklace
Brandon gave me this necklace for Christmas. It’s really sweet, and I’ve been wearing mine a lot. -
RIFLE + RADFORD Rafferty Ring
Aquamarine plays nicely with just about everything.

Hey! I’ve followed your blog for years now, and I am over the moon to see our necklace on your gift guide! Thanks for including it!
Love the site, and thanks again for posting about the Durango!

Just bought the t-shirt…one for me and one for my co-teacher. We keep our 8th graders awake and crack ourselves up daily by using MANY 80s references. Thanks for the link.

Oops. That ring doesn’t contain an aquamarine, but a chalcedony, a much prettier stone IMO.

I love the “Nobody puts baby in a corner” tshirt!!! That is fabulous! Love the ring too. I’m thinking my hubby needs to see this post. :)

I keep visiting that ring on Fab – I literally drooled a little when I saw it, lol!

I agree with the shirt being a maternity top! How fun would that be to wear it or give as a gift.

Your post reminds me that V day is just around the corner. Thank you for reminding all of us. I love your ideas, especially that necklace with the letter inside the envelope. Too cute for words. I’ll drop the hint with my guy! Keep on posting!

I love that t-shirt! That’s great – I wonder if it stretches for a preggo belly ;)
Making it Lovely
That would adorable as a maternity shirt! There’s always the option of layering a tank underneath for coverage…

my boyfriend and i love picking up vintage playboys at book fairs! it feels a little scandalous and makes for fun reading together that evening. ;) as a Chicagoan, i’m sure you’re well aware of the awesome amounts (plus other vintage treasures) that are available at the annual Printer’s Row Lit Fest. it is truly the best event!

Oooh, I love these! The booty print tickles me pink.

Ha ha, those are some really awesome Valentine’s gifts… much more interesting than the usual! We don’t really do all that much for Valentine’s here in Germany. Too bad, right?

That print is HILARIOUS! It’s right up my husband’s alley! I would also not be offended if #1 showed up at my house on Valentine’s Day either…haha!
