Brandon and I had our closing yesterday. One hour and a million signatures later, we were the new owners of a very old house.
My usual Honor Roll will go up tomorrow, and I’ll begin processing the hundreds of photos I’ve taken. I’m so glad I can finally share the inside! I wish I could include a few here, but I’m using my phone to post, and it’s not working well. I’m not trying to be a tease, I swear. Photos, Monday!

Congrats on this house! This is random, but I was wondering if you could post close up pictures of your hair (front, back and sids) . It is super cute and looks exactly like what I need right now. I’m growing out my bangs and I have two little ones, which gives me about 2 minutes to dry my hair in the morning.
Making it Lovely
Short hair is so easy to care for! The downside is that you have to get pretty frequent haircuts to maintain it. Since we’ve been out of state for nearly a month, I missed a normally scheduled cut (every 10 weeks) and my hair is growing out a bit. If you need pictures to go off of, I recently realized that my haircut is pretty close to this little boys’!

It’s cool to know the former owners were fun too from what I can see of that paint job. Congrats!
Making it Lovely
I think they were a pretty interesting couple!

YEA! Congratulations! My house is over 100 years old, so I know the feeling. :) I cannot wait to see photos.
Making it Lovely
The house we sold was over 100 years old too, but the ‘new’ one predates it by two decades!
Alaina
Congratulations! I’ve been following your blog for years and admiring what you’ve done in your previous home, so I’m really looking forward to seeing what you will do in the new place. Enjoy!

Laura at Rather Square
That front porch/staircase looks so cool. Are you planning on changing any of it, or leave it painted as-is?
Making it Lovely
No plans to change it at this time. Purple’s not my favorite, but it really works for the house!
