p.s. Thank you for all of the comments yesterday, and in general. I’ve been reading them all, but I haven’t gotten a chance to respond to any yet. I had to knock out the articles I had due (“my writing, elsewhere”) and then get back to painting Eleanor’s room. She has been sleeping in August’s room while I’ve been working on hers, but she’s looking forward to having her room back (which means I’ve got some more painting ahead of me). I should have time later today or over the weekend though, and I’ll pop back in and answer any questions that came up!

Chartreuse!!! This has been my long time go-to accent color. From my home’s start with stark midcentury to where it is now, layered midcentury-boho-regency! love it with PINK! (also orange, dark blue, gold/brass…) Glad to see it get some props! Also, wins for the hardest to spell color…ever.

i love and been following your blog for years…..but i have to say I don’t like the link on brides throwing cats. Though it is meant as a joke and sane people don’t actually do it – some people take it literally and will find cats to throw. There are too many animal abusers out there, and such links just encourage acts of cruelty.
