Old houses, structural or interpersonal, are like this.

David Sedaris hates overhead lighting.
Notable line: “Do other guys lean against their dressers, admiring the play of sun and shadow on their Gustav Klimt posters?, I’d wonder.” -

I also hate overhead lighting… and well, ceiling fans… we’ve had this discussion before. And I absolutely LOVE the movie illustrations. Especially the Godfather and Goodfellas prints!
Old houses… I was holding my breath reading that article! ha
i’m just tickled that i recognized Bo before i read any of the text, and then confirmed with a “hover” over the pic to see the source. :-)
Lady. Thank you. Love to you always.
Two things: overhead lights! Yes! When I’m cooking during the day, my husband always comes into the kitchen and turns on the light. And says, “Isn’t that better?” And I’m like “No! No it isn’t better!” And I shut it off. Glad I’m not alone.
Also, I went and read pretty much that whole blog Girl Gone Child. Wonderful stuff.
