I’ve always preferred a high waist. Tapered pants though? Combined with a high waist, and pleats? Sounds scary, looks awesome. Enjoy the little ham in front of me because this is the only photo I have of myself wearing these.
She’s a delight. :) Back to those pants though — they look good with pointy flats, loafers, oxfords, and heels of any height. Tuck in a blouse or pair with a cropped shirt, and done. And hooray! High waisted pants are all over the stores right now! I have numbers 3, 4, and 6 below and can personally attest to their awesomeness.

I am so happy to see these! Thanks for posting your favorites. I feel like many of these are just “normal-waisted” pants though. For so long we’ve only been sold boyfriend cut or low-waisted that a return to anything else seems high-waisted when they really just sit at a normal waist.
