And I love this unseasonably warm 70 degree weather we’re experiencing. It’s so nice to sit in the yard together.
All right, let’s stay outside today.

April 15, 2010 at 2:14 pmI remember reading your post on getting elephant things for Eleanor and I saw this and thought of you guys.
http://www.zoechicco.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=29_1_11&products_id=246
I know it’s a little much for a baby, but I’m thinking like Sweet 16 or 21st. It’s super cute. Just in case you were planning ahead. =)
Making it Lovely
April 16, 2010 at 12:18 pmOoh, I want one for me! I would wear it all the time to symbolize my little Eleanor. (Yeah, I may as well give up on avoiding the Eleanor/elephant thing.) And her birthstone is a diamond. Is it not the perfect mother’s day gift for me? And then I could pass it down to Eleanor on a milestone birthday… I’m getting sentimental just thinking about it.
Crystal
April 15, 2010 at 2:24 pmVery cute! Love the foot photo!
Kelly S.
April 15, 2010 at 2:25 pmWell, don’t we all love that egg chair? If only I looked as cute in that Liberty print, though.
Rebekah Coleman-Brahler
April 15, 2010 at 2:35 pmlook at her in her little liberty ensemble! how sweet is that???
Kat
April 15, 2010 at 2:45 pmThis might be an odd question, but do you have to iron the dress after it’s been in the wash? I didn’t buy the Liberty dress because ironing a dress for daughter would be a waste since it wouldn’t stay wrinkle free for very long!
Making it Lovely
April 16, 2010 at 12:19 pmNo way, I wouldn’t bother ironing clothes for a baby! The dress has been fine. Maybe a little wrinkly, but not to the point of bothering me.

April 16, 2010 at 2:38 pmWow – these are darling photos. An above commenter is right – they could be photos for a catalog – I’d buy it all! Speaking of which – I’ve already got a liberty dress for my little darling – but the chair. I’ve been wanting chairs similar to yours for a while, but have been holding off because of fear of rain soaked, moldy cushions. Do you have to do anything special for weather (ie, bring inside every night, etc) or can you just leave them be? I’m afraid it would be such a hassle…
Melissa
April 16, 2010 at 2:42 pmI remember when you wanted this chair. You mentioned how lovely it would be to curl up with a baby and sit outside in your garden. Here you are not only with the chair, but a baby too.
I love the picture of Eleanor examining a little piece of nature in her hand.
Sandye
April 16, 2010 at 8:01 pmMy favorite photo is the one with Eleanor and the dog. Nothing better than growing up with a doggie in the house. (Who needs siblings!–I’m an only child, obviously, who grew up with two mini schnauzers; they were my best friends.)
jessica
April 16, 2010 at 9:38 pmsweet and delightful photos!

April 16, 2010 at 10:21 pmOh Eleanor is so lovely – just like her mother. I love your blog and happen upon it from time to time. … My daughter’s name is Lucia; she is 13 months, close to Miss E, I do believe.

April 17, 2010 at 4:08 pmEleanor is inheriting her mother’s chicness (is that a word?). She’s too adorable. Love the outfit, love her next to the fab pillow. And the photo of her peaking out the hole is too cute. I’d be tempted to blow that one up huge. Probably difficult to decide which pics to blow up, they’re all so cute! Can you do a shot of her in an astronaut outfit one day? I see her in an astronaut outfit with a daisy in her hand.
