Orbit Lounge

I’ll be picking up two of these Orbit Lounge Chairs tonight from the Crate & Barrel outlet.

[via Twenty Twenty-One]

I may or may not change the color. I don’t want the little table that’s shown with the chairs though. I thought a ceramic garden stool might be nice, but I can’t bring myself to pay full price for one. Where are all the garden stools that people are sick of? After such a big trend, wouldn’t you think Craigslist and eBay would be flooded with them a year or two later?

I was perusing the garden section of Lowe’s recently and was pleased to find that they carry a lovely garden stool for under $50. I can’t seem to find them on the website but take a look around the large porcelain planters at your local Lowe’s store. I saw them in red and mustard. And for a great online find, here’s one for $39.99!

    Hi,

Love your blog. I’m a fellow Oak Parker and a longtime lurker. Anyway, there is a red porcelain garden stool on sale on JCPenney’s website. Here’s the link: http://www3.jcpenney.com/jcp/Products.aspx?ItemID=132d0c2&ItemTyp=G&GrpTyp=PRD&ShowMenu=T&ShopBy=0&SearchString=stool&RefPage=SearchDepartment.aspx&CmCatId=SearchResults&Search1Prod=True

Do you have a Hobby Lobby up north? They are having 66% off all garden accessories right now and I saw garden stools among the discounted items.

I’ve seen the ones at Lowes that Nikkirose mentioned. Very cute, especially the mustard.

I may have to stop at Lowes on the way back then. Mustard sounds good, and $50 or less would be nice.

You may also try http://www.wisteria.com for a garden stool. I know they’re having a sale on their website this weekend.

I probably also shouldn’t tell you that their warehouse (which is down here in Dallas) had a big HUGE sale last weekend, and I saw a ton of garden stools…. really really cheap. Sorry. :-(

Those chairs are brilliant! I don’t know how you find these things. Either you spend a LOT of time on the ‘net, or your one helluva detective.

I’d love to paint those chairs a funky green and have them outside in the garden, it’d look so nice with the different green leaves!

has anyone actually sat in these chairs? are they comfortable? they seem more like dining chairs, rather than recliners. Anyone know whether they are upright enough to have at a table for a meal?

I was just in CB Outlet on Tuesday and saw that set. I tested it out, and those chairs are super comfortable! If you haven’t sat in them yet, you’ll love them! I wish I had the space to get them too!

Hi there, love your site. We’re fellow bungalow renovators, too. Regarding the garden stools, do you have a TJ Maxx Home Goods near you? I saw a few there recently.
