Being a Mum is marvellous – I felt as though I’d invented babies when I had my daughter and when my son was born that I’d proved the first time wasn’t just a fluke. She is so lovely and good on you for persisting with breast feeding. She is going to be a very sociable girl. I love it! The pin is a nice touch for scale. We did something similar with our kids, took their picture every month with the same teddy bear. In the beginning it looked like the bear was trying to eat the baby – by their 2nd birthday the bear is wee.

Eleanor is beautiful & this is a great idea!
I will be turning 35 soon and my sister 32: our mum has been taking a picture of us – once a year, at the end of summer – sitting on the porch of the house where we grew up since I was 3 years old!
That makes 32 frames with pictures of us growing up on her wall! Pretty amazing, isn’t it?
