Living Room

Nailhead Curtains

I first wrote about these nailhead curtains back in July of last year. I wanted them but I hesitated and they were gone. I noticed that west elm is carrying them again though, so with the help of a few gift cards I went ahead and bought a pair of panels for the living room.

I’m still not sure how they’ll look with the color of the couch, but we’ll see. This is like a shopping second chance and I’d be kicking myself if I didn’t at least try them!

Those are great-looking, Nicole. It’s so fun when you get that second-chance, isn’t it? About a year ago I saw this great fabric for a kitchen tablecloth and DID NOT BUY IT, and now I can’t find it anywhere. I’m such a dunce, I didn’t even look to see who made it :[

Oh, well. Happy for you, and my kitchen table is willing to wait for an even better choice than the one I missed.

Good cal on buying them just in case! I hate second-guessing myself and then regretting it later. Besides, you can just return them and buy something else if they’re not quite right…I’m sure you’ll end up with something fabulous either way :)

What do you do when you don’t like the many things you purchase for your house–ie: if they don’t fit/match the decor? Do you resell? I am not as ambitious with my online shopping..just curious.

Love these curtains. The nail head detail makes them simple, but adds texture and interest. I am sooo dying for West Elm to come to Vancouver.

I have been eyeing these as well for my living room… and definitely feel the urge to grab em’ while they are still available. However… my windows are 113 inches wide… what do I do? Are these no longer an option then? I am so confused about window treatments in general. Grr.

If you don’t love the color with the living room, but love the overall look and the nailhead, you may consider dyeing and/or over-dyeing them.
