We’ll Have a Pink Christmas

Our home has been lovingly bedecked for the holidays.

Pink Christmas Tree

I’ve already shown you what the tree looks like undecorated

And I gave you a little glimpse of it with ornaments…

Now I have the rest of our tree, and a few other holiday decorations to show you.

A white dove rests near the top.

Christmas Presents Under the Tree

A sparkly pillow sits on the couch.

Stockings have been hung from the dining room buffet.

Eleanor's Stocking

Our deer are out, as always.

I’ve even decorated the light in the dining room (inspired by Brooke).

Christmas Decorations

Really, I can’t believe I hesitated to buy the pink Christmas tree. It fits in so perfectly here.

I’m pretty sure my favorite details (beside the tree, of course) are the swanky paper selections under the tree. YAYS!

  20. Jules December 21, 2009 at 3:29 pm #

    Nicole,

Everything is so beautiful! I think what is so inspiring about you and everything you design is that it is so unapologetically you. You are so good at trusting your instincts and pushing the envelope. Eleanor is lucky to have such a confident role model to emulate. You push me to follow my gut and worry less about what people think. Modern estancia, here I come. ;)

p.s. You outdid yourself again with your Christmas cards this year!

  21. Draya December 21, 2009 at 3:39 pm #

Love all the pink! The stocking holder is so cute! Where did you find that…and is it really a stocking holder?

    • Elizabeth December 21, 2009 at 9:28 pm #

I second the stocking hook question. I’ve been searching everywhere for ones that I like and haven’t found a thing.

    • Making it Lovely December 21, 2009 at 9:34 pm #

They ARE official stocking holders. I bought them years ago from Hold Everything (they’re designed by Jonathan Adler) – they were on clearance for $5.

  22. LeAnn December 21, 2009 at 3:47 pm #

I think there are few people who could pull off a pink tree with such style and class such as you have. It’s lovely!

  23. Kathy December 21, 2009 at 3:58 pm #

I love everything, especially how you’ve gussied up your chandelier. We have the same one and dressed it up for the holidays, too! http://www.simple-e-design.com/

  42. Melissa Allam December 22, 2009 at 10:17 am #

I don’t usually put up a tree, because I celebrate Hanukkah. But I do celebrate Christmas too, and after seeing your tree here, if I did put up a tree it would be a pink one like yours. I love it!

  43. Maggie December 22, 2009 at 10:19 am #

    Hi,

I think you tree and home are just lovely! Where did you get the fun, gold, decorative spray (near the chandelier)?

    Thanks for the inspiration!

    • Michele December 22, 2009 at 9:03 pm #

Pier 1 has some that are similar!

    • Making it Lovely December 23, 2009 at 1:48 pm #

The gold ones are from Kmart (Martha Stewart’s Christmas decorations), and I got the more colorful ones that are in the tree from Pier 1 a few years ago.

  44. Nuit December 22, 2009 at 10:50 am #

It really fits in just perfectly! I love that dove, my goodness, it’s gorgeous. x

  45. jbhat December 22, 2009 at 11:02 am #

Oh my goodness. Your photos are leaving me a little breathless. The tree, the ornaments, the wrapping, the decor, that stocking holder. I want to move in with your family and have it be the holidays all the time.

Thanks so much for sharing all of this loveliness with us.

  46. mindy December 22, 2009 at 11:11 am #

Where did you get the art on the wall to the left of tree and window? Your tree is lovely!

  47. Michelle N December 22, 2009 at 11:44 am #

I love it! I wish I had your talent and creativity! My tree is a little bare, my two year old keeps taking the ornaments off. The bottom of the tree is naked!

  48. Beatrice December 22, 2009 at 12:07 pm #
