We’ll Have a Pink Christmas
Our home has been lovingly bedecked for the holidays.
I’ve already shown you what the tree looks like undecorated…
And I gave you a little glimpse of it with ornaments…
Now I have the rest of our tree, and a few other holiday decorations to show you.
A white dove rests near the top.
Presents are nestled in below.
A sparkly pillow sits on the couch.
Stockings have been hung from the dining room buffet.
Our deer are out, as always.
I’ve even decorated the light in the dining room (inspired by Brooke).
Really, I can’t believe I hesitated to buy the pink Christmas tree. It fits in so perfectly here.

It’s all perfect!
This has to be the most beautiful Christmas decorating I’ve ever seen!
Any suggestions on where to get a pink tree like that?
Desiree,
Here is a link where she showed the tree initially, and she includes a link on the post:

I think it’s beautiful! I love how the tree brings out the rug, too.

looks amazing!!! Pink is such a nice color!
I’m pretty sure my favorite details (beside the tree, of course) are the swanky paper selections under the tree. YAYS!
This really is superb Nicole – I am so in love with the pinkness of it all – love the 2nd picture!
I saw a ton of pink ornaments at Macy*s today and couldn’t help but think of your tree :)
I love the pink tree! And everything else, ofcourse! Great Job!
Pure heaven – a total vision!
Seriously one of the most amazing holiday decorations we’ve ever seen. Love it all!
Love, love, love it…it is so you! Happy holidays.
I LOVE your pink – I wish my husband would let me have a pink room! And we have the same tree topper – I love our dove :) Your wrapping paper is absolutely gorgeous. Fabulous as usual!
Freaking fabulous. Perfectly pink!
Stunning!
Lovely for sure!
it’s cute! Is pink your favorite color?
Yeah, I think it would be safe to say that.
So classic! You did a great job!
beautiful!! i love everything you have done!
Oh woh this is really bright and beautiful. You’ll sure have a very merry Christmas with such delightful decorations :o)
Nicole,
Everything is so beautiful! I think what is so inspiring about you and everything you design is that it is so unapologetically you. You are so good at trusting your instincts and pushing the envelope. Eleanor is lucky to have such a confident role model to emulate. You push me to follow my gut and worry less about what people think. Modern estancia, here I come. ;)
p.s. You outdid yourself again with your Christmas cards this year!
Thank you, Jules.
Love all the pink! The stocking holder is so cute! Where did you find that…and is it really a stocking holder?
I second the stocking hook question. I’ve been searching everywhere for ones that I like and haven’t found a thing.
They ARE official stocking holders. I bought them years ago from Hold Everything (they’re designed by Jonathan Adler) – they were on clearance for $5.
I think there are few people who could pull off a pink tree with such style and class such as you have. It’s lovely!
Wow! What a fun & contemporary spin to holiday decorations. I love how everything works for Christmas AND New Years. The patterns, colors and sweet details are breathtaking. Wonderful job!
your house looks gorgeous! while you are all getting warm and cosy for Christmas, we are sweltering in the hot Aussie sun here in Sydney. love your blog.
It’s lovely.
awesome! i’m loving the reto-chic vibe. hope you have a gorgeous holiday, although it certainly looks as though you will!

That’s my Christmas present: A huge bird bowl!
oooh! haha i thought maybe it was some new way to store presents :O)
how neat!
Oh my it looks so magical! Like a fairy wonderland. Love it.
Really beautiful. Really.Beautiful. Happy Holidays.
I love your pink tree, the same dove tops our tree.
I also LOVE the wallpaper in your dining room, it is great!
The tree is fabulous and I love all the details. Especially the stockings! Those are great!! Do you have a source for them?
I got that one from west elm a couple of years ago.
it all looks amazing! and you got the Jonathan Adler bird bowl!!! lucky:)
I’m pretty jazzed about it!
Absolutely fabulous.
unbelievably awesome!!lovin you pink tree. sure really hard to pack it up after the christmas is over:)
Looks lovely! I wish my place looked that good, but with a fifteen month old, I have a big ugly fence around the tree.
Yeah, we’ll see what next year holds for us when Eleanor is more mobile.
so beautiful, nicole!
love your pink tree!
So beautiful, love the white bird!
santa better be wearing pink when he comes down your chimney! ;-)
I love everything, especially how you’ve gussied up your chandelier. We have the same one and dressed it up for the holidays, too! http://www.simple-e-design.com/
I don’t usually put up a tree, because I celebrate Hanukkah. But I do celebrate Christmas too, and after seeing your tree here, if I did put up a tree it would be a pink one like yours. I love it!
Hi,
I think you tree and home are just lovely! Where did you get the fun, gold, decorative spray (near the chandelier)?
Thanks for the inspiration!
Pier 1 has some that are similar!
The gold ones are from Kmart (Martha Stewart’s Christmas decorations), and I got the more colorful ones that are in the tree from Pier 1 a few years ago.
It really fits in just perfectly! I love that dove, my goodness, it’s gorgeous. x
Oh my goodness. Your photos are leaving me a little breathless. The tree, the ornaments, the wrapping, the decor, that stocking holder. I want to move in with your family and have it be the holidays all the time.
Thanks so much for sharing all of this loveliness with us.
Where did you get the art on the wall to the left of tree and window? Your tree is lovely!
Thanks! That’s a painting by Amy Ruppel.
I love it! I wish I had your talent and creativity! My tree is a little bare, my two year old keeps taking the ornaments off. The bottom of the tree is naked!
That is the cutest tree ever!! ^.^
where did you get that letter E? i love that idea!
Restoration Hardware!
N,
Where did you find the silver ball garland around the deer? I’m been looling EVERYWHERE for them!
Target has some that is similar!
I got mine from Pottery Barn, but last year.
Oooh! It all looks so pretty! Perfect for little Eleanor’s first Christmas! This year our little Landon is quite mobile and quite into the tree… he keeps coming in the room and pointing at the tree and saying oooooooohhhh!!! Then he sneaks the ornaments off while we aren’t looking. Fun times!
Aww! So cozy. Happy first Christmas to Miss Eleanor and the rest of your family. Well done, mom! I can barely manage to wash my hair and get out the door to work every day with a little one. I don’t know how you do it, but it all looks so pretty.
Oh like a magazine spread for the coolest, craftiest designer in town. Just so original and TOTALLY you!
Oohhh, such pretty ornaments & gift wrapping – love everything!!!
Did you make the stocking letters or did you buy them? If bought, where? That’s a modern & timeless idea for labeling stockings. You inspired me to try that for my family.
Happy Holidays?
Those are ornaments from Restoration Hardware. We already had a ‘B’ and an ‘N’, so I made sure to grab an ‘E’ for Eleanor this year.
That is breathtaking! LOVE it!
I love the dove. Is it something that is still commercially available? my whole xmas tree is covered with birds from antique to modern. I love the soft and innocent look to the dovie.
Target, a few years ago. They may still have them though.
I have to know where the sparkly pillow is from???
Crate & Barrel. It came in red too.
Simply delicious blog…
Just stumbled upon your site. Your decorating is simply beautiful. And the pink tree is so chic! Wherever did you get those sparkly silver round accessories pictured on your side table and on top of your dining room chandelier? Love those!
They’re gold, and I picked them up at Kmart this year (part of the Martha Stewart line).
What is the white porcelain (basket..?) pictured in photo # 7, beneath the tree? I like it, I just can’t put my finger in its purpose. Please enlighten me :)

That’s my Christmas present: a bird bowl. Brandon said it was too big to wrap, but I think it looks cute under the tree!
